概要: We studied graphene growth using an amorphous carbon thin film as a solid source instead of flowing raw material gas using a method derived from chemical vapor deposition. We systematically studied for the first time, the growth mechanism. We succeeded in growing graphite on the Ni and Fe although we did not obtain graphene/graphite on the Cu. Furthermore, Fe thin films formed on Si substrates were used as substrates and, we obtained larger quantities of graphite than with Fe foils. These results suggest that the thickness of the oxide layer is an essential consideration for the growth graphene on metals. 続きを見る

概要: The propagation of magnetostatic wave in ferromagnetic material was investigated using micromagnetic simulation. In ferromagnetic medium, magnetostatic wave excited by rf magnetic field and the propagation over different internal magnetic field was observed. It is found that magnetostatic wave partially penetrated through the boundary between the regions which has different magnetic field. After penetration, the amplitude reduced significantly, and the wavelength increased depend on difference of magnetic field strength. The mechanism can be explained by dispersion relation of magnetostatic wave in ferromagnetic material. It is also exhibited application of exchange bias field by attaching anti-ferromagnetic material, Ir25Mn75 on Ni80Fe20 ferromagnetic medium. 続きを見る

概要: The purpose of this study is to discern the relationship between spatial accuracy, timing accuracy, and bat control and hitting accuracy for elite collegiate baseball batters. Nine college baseball batters performed three tasks. The first task was hitting a fastball thrown by a pitching machine (HPT). The second task was observing a pitching machine’s fastball and indicating the location (OPT). The third task was hitting a ball on a baseball tee (TBT). The subjects’ performance in hitting accuracy was defined by their success rate in the HPT. The distribution of the point of ball-bat impact in the TBT represented the subjects’ ability in the bat control. The fluctuations in the location in pitcher-to-catcher direction between the HPT and the TBT represented the subjects’ temporal accuracy. The subjects’ spatial accuracy was defined by their performance in the OPT. Although they were able to control their bat swings to hit a ball within the effective impact area most of the time in the Tee Ball Task, timing and spatial components of their performance indicated larger errors and lower precision. Our results suggest that the perceptual skills involved in baseball hitting are the main reason why batters fail to hit a ball accurately. 続きを見る

概要: This paper aims to clarify the status and features of environmental consciousness in rural China by focusing on analyzing people’s satisfaction towards the environment and expectation towards the environmental change. Analysis results based on the 508 cases that collected from 51 villages in Ningyang county indicated that people in rural areas were holding positive evaluations towards the environment as well as on their lives. People in rural areas were satisfied with the present environmental quality and were more likely to hold a positive expectation towards the future environmental change. 続きを見る
